"Candle in the Wind"
This very special painting is titled
"Candle in the Wind". It was inspired by Elton John's song "Candle
in the Wind", which he wrote about Marilyn, and later dedicated to
Princess Diana. The painting was done with the Renaissance technique
of over glazing, in which 10 or more layers of translucent oil paint is
applied to give depth and translucence to the painting. - Ron Keas
